Kanel, as we call her, we bought as a foal in England, at the Halstock Stud. The first time we saw her she was a tiny little beautiful black girl, and she has now developed into a lovely grey mare.

In 2009 she had her first foal, Bakkegaard's Cæsar, after Kerswell Buccaneer. Cæsar is sold to Poland.
